We saw a massive midday short squeeze in Nikola on Thursday.
Nikola is of course a truck-maker that… doesn’t have any trucks on the road. Those of you who’ve been around for the long haul with me know I’ve been calling this company a total fraud for years now.
Not much has changed in that regard…
But with shares trading just over a buck — LOL — heading into today, we saw a big $250K order come in for some longer-dated call options around 11 a.m. ET, which bounced shortly thereafter as the stock rose more than 60% before falling back.
