EV and Travel Names Attract Hot Summer Flows

by | Jun 30, 2023

It’s a hot summer day and we’re seeing some hot trading out there as we cruise into the weekend and into July!

Some big orders are hitting the tape in the EV names like XPEV and LCID Friday after Lucid signed a splashy deal with high-end automaker Aston Martin sending shares higher across the sector.

Institutional buyers lit up my options scanner, scooping up around 1,800 contracts of the Aug. 4 expiration $7.50 calls!

Check out the chart…

Wondering what those little arrows mean and how they can help improve your trading? Get the details here!

We’re seeing some sticky momentum among some individual stocks and it’s made for fantastic moves for traders to take advantage of, so let’s stick with what’s working and target that outsized order flow…

Check the video and see for yourself…

Video Highlights:

📈 Big October and August call buying in the EV sector.
🚗 LCID signed a deal with Maserati and has upcoming earnings. August 4th seven and a half strike calls mentioned.
✈️ #DAL saw activity in August 52.5 calls, shares up nearly 2%.
🌍 Travel-related stocks (DAL, UAL, CCL) showed strong recovery.
🔥 Focus on stocks with momentum and strong performance in the market.

Thursday’s Top Order Flow:

Lucid Group Inc. (NYSE: LCID): August $7.50 CALL.
Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE: DAL): August, $52.50 CALL.
Xpeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV): August, $13 CALL.
And more!

Note: If no date is listed after the month, it’s the monthly expiration (third Friday).

P.S. Right now the market is sorta splintered…

On one hand, names like MSFT, TSLA, GOOG & AMD are up big…

While at the same time, hundreds of stocks are still in the red.

So, what’s the move?

Do you ride the few strong stocks higher?

Or buy the stocks that are still in the red & hope for a recovery?

If you’d ask me, I’d say neither

I’d tell you to look for individual opportunities that can unfold in 24 hours or less.

By trading in 24 hour increments I’ve been able to sidestep market drama while also issuing gains of:

40%…50%…60%…70% and do it with a high accuracy rate.

So, if you want to see my strategy for trading 24 hours at a time…

But today, I’m going to give you a full walkthrough.

So Come on and Let Me Show You!

The profits and performance shown are not typical, and you may lose money.  From 2/21/20 to 6/28/23 on live trades the win rate is 67%, the average return of winners and losers is 13.2%. The average winner is 52.3% on the options over a 7 day average hold time.
