Scanner Spots Bloodthirsty Bull Dropping $1.5M in SHOP Calls

by | Mar 24, 2023

Hey, trader,

No video today since I’m traveling for work — but don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging…

Markets are selling off to close the week as the hits keep on coming for banks.

This time, it’s our old friends at Deutsche Bank taking a tumble as the price to insure its debt against default continues to climb.

That bit of bad news saw more pain ripple through the financial sector, with traders looking for safe haven.

Like we’ve talked about all week, the banks’ turmoil has been big tech’s gain, and the big institutions kept the trend rolling Friday.

My scanners spotted big premiums flowing into names like META, BABA and AI…

But those weren’t the only orders hitting the tape Friday — let’s take a look…

  • Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA): March 31, $89 CALL.
  • Meta Platforms Inc. (Nasdaq: META): April 28, $245 CALL.
  • C3.ai Inc. (NYSE: AI): April 6, $26 CALL.
  • Shopify Inc. (NYSE: SHOP): May 19, $50 CALL.

I also have something special in store for you that I can’t wait to share — all I can say right now is you’re going to want to keep your eyes on your inbox this weekend!

Best,

Lance

P.S. The Banking Crisis Is Flashing an INSANE Trade Setup

In the world of investing, knowing critical information ahead of time is essential.

People often make BIG investment decisions based on the potential of future events.

On Feb. 27, the CFO of Silicon Valley Bank sold off $575,000 worth of shares just days before the bank collapsed…

In fact, we’ve seen a lot of banking insiders unload shares as of late…

Likely because they — like many — are afraid of a serious banking meltdown…

And to be honest, I can’t blame them…

But what’s interesting is that at the same time, one group of insiders is loading up on shares of one individual bank

Is there something much bigger going on? I don’t know for sure…

But it begs the question: What do they know that we don’t?
